The International Law Programme is hosting this event. This event, held in partnership with Doughty Street Chambers, is in commemoration of John Jones QC.
War crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide are being committed in Iraq and Syria. The speakers will discuss measures to hold perpetrators accountable, focusing on: crimes committed on behalf of governments, crimes committed against the Yazidis by ISIS, and prospects for prosecution in domestic courts.
The meeting will be followed by a short drinks reception at 19:00 and is accredited with 1.5 CPD points.
