The Court of Protection Bar Association is holding a careers event for aspiring barristers from a BAME background to enable them to learn more about the practice area, the work of the Court of Protection and paths to pupillage.

The Court of Protection makes a huge range of decisions – from medical to financial – in relation to people who lack the mental capacity to decide for themselves. It is engaging and interesting work at the cutting edge of the law. At this students’ careers event, you will get the chance to ask your questions and hear from BAME Court of Protection barristers about what they do in practice, including:

Parishil Patel QC, 39 Essex Chambers

Turan Hursit, Doughty Street Chambers

Nageena Khalique QC, Serjeants’ Inn

Vikram Sachdeva QC, 39 Essex Chambers
