The Blackstone Human Rights Moot Court Competition is co-organised each year by Oxford Lawyers without Borders, the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights and the Oxford Mooting Programme. The moot aims to promote the study of international human rights law and to determine the team that will represent the University of Oxford at the Nelson Mandela World Human Rights Moot Court Competition in Geneva. The competition is kindly sponsored by Blackstone Chambers

The Grand Finals of the 2022 edition of the moot will take place in person on Saturday, 5 March 2022 at the Sir Joseph Hotung Auditorium, Mansfield College. It will be judged by Maurice Mendelson QC (Blackstone Chambers), Emmeline Plews (Blackstone Chambers), Ashleigh Barnes (DPhil Candidate, Oxford) and Sameer Bhat (DPhil Candidate, Oxford).

All members of the University of Oxford are welcome to attend the Grand Finals. The moot problem can be accessed here.
