We are looking for a dozen students who are willing to share their views on the recruitment practices in Oxford with representatives from Hogan Lovells. This is not a session for them to evaluate you.
It is more a fact finding mission to determine the best practices in understanding your views of the milk run, recruitment events and practices in Oxford. You can be completely honest about what you think works (and what does not) when being approached by law firms in general.
RSVP to me directly and I will choose up to 12 students who are ready to speak out. Please do not ask to attend if you have a tutorial or other academic commitments during this time. There will be other opportunities for sessions like this later in the academic year. I ask for your name, college, course, year of study, and career interests when you RSVP.
I will then confirm the venue with those who are selected. We will meet with Hogan Lovells for a hot drink and some homemade cookies (our treat) at 11:30-12.30 on Friday 11th March.
Although we are very interested in the view of Law students, we are also keen to include non-law if you have fellow students who are interested so do share this invitation.
