FJDG Discussions: 'Come Closer to Feminism' by bell hooks

Join us for the Feminist Jurisprudence Discussion Group's second discussion event of Hilary 2022. This lunchtime discussion will be introduced briefly by FJDG co-convener Ellie Whittingdale, who will speak to hooks’ life and work, and situate the extract within the book for context. Discussion will then be opened to the floor, with a focus on the introduction of the text, ‘Come Closer to Feminism’ (pp. xi-xiv). For those joining in person, this event will take place at St. Hilda's College, suite A and B, on 7th February 2022 from 1:15-2:30pm. Please bring your own lunch!
