Today's Law Lecture is followed by the Glove Ceremony and the Court Sermon at evensong in Christ Church Cathedral. The three events are organised to bring together from across the County, representatives of all those involved in the administrations of the Law. In this way the ancient founding institutions of Oxford and its Shire can together reflect on the challenges brought by the 21st Century to the services they have given for centuries past.
