Each year, we take on up to 50 trainee solicitors – both law and non-law graduates. The two-year training contract is split into four six-month ‘seats’. During this time, trainee solicitors move around four different practice areas, including corporate, finance, and dispute resolution. Graduates will gain exposure to and develop a rounded understanding of international law, and they will have an opportunity to apply for an international or client secondment.
Hogan Lovells also runs highly regarded summer and winter vacation schemes. Up to 55 places are available in total. Each lasts up to three weeks, and gives participants the chance to work alongside partners, associates and trainees in major practice areas. Students are exposed to two or three practice areas and learn to draft documents, carry out legal research, attend meetings and in some cases attend court. This hands-on learning is complemented by tailored workshops, case studies and social events. We also run insight days for first year law and non-law students throughout the year.
Come and meet us to find out more about what we offer and what you could do if you were to join us. You'll have the opportunity to meet a variety of our lawyers and trainee solicitors.
Please note that spaces for this event are limited and you'll be able to sign up via our website from September. http://graduates.hoganlovells.com/page/events
