Susan is one of the most experienced and well-known professionals in the funding sector.

A pioneer of litigation funding in the UK, having established her first funder in 2002, Susan has provided significant input to the development of public policy on funding around the world and was once again named as a Band 1 individual in Chambers (2019), where she was described as the ‘doyenne of litigation funding’.

Susan is a founding member of the UK’s Association of Litigation Funders, which she now Chairs. She qualified as a solicitor in 1992, working as a commercial litigator in both the UK the US where she was also a diplomat (Vice-Consul Investment), for the British Government.

Harbour has funds of £760 million.
