This workshop provides a unique opportunity for PhD researchers of migration to actively participate in interdisciplinary exchange and to benefit from the cross-fertilisation that the event will provide.
We will draw on extant faculty expertise in the Leicester Migration Network of the University of Leicester. It will allow participants to reconsider their research from the vantage points of other disciplines.
The format of the session will combine presentations of research projects both by Leicester academics and PhD students, who will receive direct input on their own projects from academics and fellow students. Students will be encouraged to reflect on methodological pluralism and to consider how other theoretical or epistemological angles might inform their work.
