In this seminar, barrister Steve Broach will be taking 3 or 4 of the key UNCRC/CRDP rights and considering how far the legal and policy framework in England gets towards the realisation of those rights.

Steve Broach is a public law barrister at Monckton Chambers with a specialist interest in the rights of disabled children, young people and families. He co-authors Disabled Children: A Legal Handbook (Legal Action Group). Prior to coming to the bar in 2008 Steve worked in the voluntary sector in senior policy and campaigning roles, including as Campaign Manager for the Every Disabled Child Matters campaign.
