The Bonavero Institute is delighted to co-host the 2019 Oxford Peace Talks in Honour of Kofi Annan with Interpeace, Oxford-Africa Conference and the Kofi Annan Foundation.  The theme of this year's talks is Africa Leading for Peace, and they will be held in honor of  the late Kofi Annan, the 7th Secretary-General of the United Nations, who officially opened the Bonavero Institute in 2018.

Oxford Peace Talks in Honour of Kofi Annan

Kofi Annan often said, " You are never too young to lead and never too old to learn", so it is fitting that the focus of this opening event is youth.  Through a series of eight-minute presentations, young Africans will share their personal stories and experiences to highlight their efforts to promote peace in Africa.
