Our next week's seminar could not have been more topical. Yesterday the CJEU rejected the actions brought by Hungary and Poland and decided that the budget conditionality mechanism stands: the EU can withhold funding from member countries failing to uphold the rule of law.
To discuss the judgement and all its implications, we have invited Professor Dimitry Kochenov (Central European University) who will talk to us about the 'Rule of Law in the EU: a legal analysis'. The seminar will take place on Thursday 24 February from 1pm to 2pm.
