In 2012 the Oxford Human Rights Hub was established under the auspices of Professor Sandra Fredman. Its founding mission was to bring together academics, practitioners, and policy-makers from across the globe to advance the understanding and protection of human rights and equality.

In the five years since its founding the OxHRH has advanced this vision through harnessing the magic of technology to produce our daily blog, seminars, blog anthology, webinars, webcasts and podcasts, graduate student workshop, conference and conference publications. Our work continues to have impact  and drawn upon by practitioners and academic in their advocacy and scholarship.

We are incredibly grateful to the support, time and energy of all the individuals and organizations who have contributed and supported to the Oxford Human Rights Hub. We look forward to fostering further conversations comparative conversations on human rights in the years to come!
