Beatriz Flügel Assad

Beatriz Flügel Assad is a DPhil in Law candidate at Worcester College, University of Oxford. Her doctoral research, supervised by Professor Ariel Ezrachi, focuses on Competition Law and Democracy.

She holds a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in Law from PUCPR, Brazil, where she received the Marcelino Champagnat Award for achieving the highest academic performance in her graduating class.

She currently serves as Deputy General Editor of the Keele Law Review. She has completed courses in International Law at Sciences Po, Paris, and at the University of Geneva, a research placement at the University of Trento, and an academic exchange at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
