Elinor Buys

Elinor Buys is a DPhil (PhD) candidate at the Faculty of Law, University of Oxford, supervised by Professor Anne Davies and Professor Liz Fisher. Her research focuses on the use of public procurement to address labour and human rights violations in government supply chains. She is also a Sub-Dean at St Edmund Hall and tutors Employment Law. 

Elinor holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) from the Queensland University of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) (Dist) and MPhil from the University of Oxford. Prior to commencing her studies at Oxford, she worked as a solicitor in Brisbane, Australia, practising in commercial litigation and arbitration.
