Biography
Filippo holds a MA in Migration Studies, Cooperation and Development with first-class honours from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. His research examined how border regimes shape the lived experiences of people on the move in Cyprus, with a particular focus on bordering practices on the island. He previously worked in refugee reception across Greece, Italy and Cyprus. He is broadly interested in forced migration, refugee law, and the geographies of border violence across the Mediterranean. He is a research and communications intern with Border Criminologies.
