Julia Van Dessel

Dr. Julia Van Dessel is a Wiener-Anspach Postdoctoral Fellow at the Oxford Department of International Development (ODID) and a Research Associate at the Centre for Research and Studies in International Politics (REPI) at the Université libre de Bruxelles. Her research focuses on the communicative, informational, and increasingly digital dimensions of EU border externalisation, with particular attention to the digitalisation of counter-smuggling policies.
