Luca Montag

Luca is a DPhil in Law candidate and recipient of the Oxford-Christopher and Sharyn Brooks Graduate Scholarship, based at Linacre College. His main research interests are in administrative law. He is particularly interested in judicial control of fact-finding enquiries conducted by public bodies and the use of statistical evidence in judicial review. He is supervised by Dr Hayley Hooper.   

Luca holds a First Class LLB (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Civil Law with Distinction from the University of Oxford. Prior to commencing his doctoral studies, Luca worked at a variety of law firms and civil society organisations, including Leigh Day, the Public Law Project and the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law.   

Beyond his studies, Luca enjoys classical painting and amateur kickboxing.
