Vasile Rotaru

Vasile is a DPhil in Law candidate, supervised by Prof. Horst Eidenmüller and Prof. Kristin van Zwieten, and a Research Fellow at Harvard Law School. His research focuses on law & economics, restructurings and insolvency, contracts, and business organizations.

He holds degrees in law, philosophy, and logic from Yale Law School, the Sorbonne, Sciences Po Paris, and Columbia Law School. Before academia, he practised in the M&A and restructuring groups of several international firms in Paris.

Vasile is a former Associate Editor of the Oxford Business Law Blog and co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Revue européenne du droit (RED).
