This event will take place in person.

The Bonavero Institute of Human Rights is pleased to announce the 2024 Bonavero Institute Student Fellowships Programme and the 2024 Bonavero Institute & Oxford Pro Bono Publico Internship Scheme

Interested students are warmly invited to join us on Tuesday 6th February between 5pm – 7pm UK time at the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights to learn more about the Bonavero Student Fellowships Programme and the Bonavero-OPBP Internship Scheme. We hope to acquaint you with our partner organizations, the application processes, and the financial assistance available. Past fellows and interns will also share their experiences at the event, and there will be a drinks reception following the presentations where you can meet past fellows and find out more. We look forward to seeing you all there!

The programme aims to provide financial assistance to graduate students at the Oxford Law Faculty and graduate students at other departments of the University of Oxford with a previous law degree, as well as to students currently in the final year of the BA (Jurisprudence) programme or those who have graduated from Oxford Law Faculty (including the BA programme) within the last twelve months, seeking work experience in human rights and public law. These internships are an exciting opportunity for students who wish to explore human rights career options both within the UK and across the world.

We are inviting applications for 2024, the deadline for these is on Monday 19th February noon (UK time). Please note, late applications will not be considered.

This year, as a part of its Student Fellowship Programme, amongst others, the Bonavero Institute will be offering internships at the AIRE Centre (UK), the Bingham Centre for the Rule of Law (UK), the Business and Human Rights Resource Centre (UK), the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR, Germany), JUSTICE (UK), Public Law Project (UK), REDRESS (UK), Reprieve (UK), Turpin & Miller (UK) and Dejusticia (Colombia), in addition to our Samuel Pisar Travelling Fellowship. Under our Student Fellowship Programme, we are also collaborating with Oxford Pro Bono Publico to offer an internship, with the partner to be confirmed. You can find detailed information about the programme's application criteria, as well as about each internship opportunity, on the Bonavero Student Fellowships page: https://www.law.ox.ac.uk/centres-institutes/bonavero-institute-human-rights/bonavero-institute-student-fellowships

We look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be an interesting and informative evening.
