This webinar series has been organised by Matrix Chambers (Professor Philip Leach) and the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights, Oxford University (Professor Dr. Başak Çalı).
It is a series of four one-hour webinars focusing on current, cutting-edge issues arising in international human rights litigation, including the regional human rights systems (African, European, Inter-American) and the UN Treaty Bodies. The chairs and speakers are leading practitioners and scholars. The webinars will discuss substantive law, practice and procedure, as well as questions of strategy and priority.

How can human rights systems respond adequately to urgent situations? This webinar will consider in particular the practice of UN Treaty Bodies and the application of interim measures by the European Court of Human Rights in asylum and migration cases.
