New book series - Emerald Borders, Criminalisation and Society Series
Associated people
We are excited to announce the launch of Emerald Borders, Criminalisation and Society Series, a new interdisciplinary book series published in partnership with Border Criminologies and Emerald Publishing.
The series provides a critical platform for exploring how borders are shaped and contested through criminalisation practices, surveillance, and enforcement. It aims to amplify marginalised voices, challenge dominant narratives, and foster co-produced, creative scholarship that foregrounds lived experiences.
With a focus on global migration, the criminalisation of mobility, and resistance at and against borders, the series welcomes interdisciplinary work spanning criminology, law, sociology, geography, and beyond.
