Aliya Anjarwalla

Aliya is a climate and resilience strategist with over 15 years of experience designing and leading high-impact programs across the US, Europe and Africa. 

Throughout her career, she has advised governments, energy companies, investors and multilateral partners including the World Bank and UNICEF on their decarbonization strategies and climate risk and resilience planning. 

Aliya began her career as a management consultant with Accenture in London, advising energy companies on their renewable energy portfolio investment strategies. She subsequently designed and executed multiple programs in East Africa aimed at increasing access to electricity through off-grid renewable energy solutions and building community resilience to climate change. 

Aliya is currently based in the US, where she advises government and private-sector organizations on their climate response strategies including energy use management, net zero roadmaps, and adaptation and resilience planning. She has a BA in Geography from Oxford University and an MSc in Public Policy and Management from the University of London SOAS.
