Louis-Alexandre Hébert-Gosselin
Biography
Louis is an MPhil student at the University of Oxford. His research interests lie primarily in constitutional and administrative law, with a focus on executive power, public law remedies, and human rights litigation. Before joining Oxford, he practiced as a litigator in Montréal, representing clients in both French and English across diverse areas of law, including constitutional law, administrative law, human rights, and state liability. He also served as a law clerk to Justice Andromache Karakatsanis at the Supreme Court of Canada (2021–2022). Louis earned both his civil law and common law degrees from the University of Montreal (LL.B. 2019; J.D. 2021).
