Georgia Williams

Georgia is a DPhil candidate at the Centre of Criminology, supervised by Professor Ian Loader. Her project examines processes of continuity and change in 21st-Century British policing through the lens of affect.

Georgia holds an MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Oxford and an LLB in Law from the University of Edinburgh. At the Centre, Georgia is Co-Convenor of the Police and Policing Research Discussion Group. She is also a founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Graduate Justice Review. This year, Georgia is working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law, delivering tutorials for the final-year Law BA Optional module 'Criminology and Criminal Justice'. She has also worked as Law Bridging Programme Coordinator, contributing to the planning, organisation and delivery of the Faculty of Law's Summer Bridging Programme within the wider University's Opportunity Oxford Programme.  

Georgia's graduate study has been fully funded by Academic Futures and the Oxford-Moran Graduate Scholarship.
